Meet Tamra

Hi, I’m Tamra, the face behind the camera. I find it so hard to think about how to describe myself in a few sentences to give you an idea of who I am. What do I say? Do I tell you about the stuff I AM or the things that I am not? Who knows... but let's give it a go.

I'm a mum of three crazy kids, and wife to a spunky guy. If given the choice I'd hang out with my family in my trackies over going out glammed up any day. I don't love chit chat and small talk and thrive of deep and meaningful conversations... even if I have only just met you. I would prefer to have a few super close friends than loads of kind of friends.

I love hearing your stories and learning what makes people tick, where they've come from, what they've been through and what's made them who they are today. I want people I come in contact with to feel heard, cared about and valued.

I am an optimist and I am a HUGE believer of appreciating all you have each and every day, even when things are hard.

I am a runner, I love being in nature, I like quiet and stillness.

I, like you, feel awkward in front of the camera and see nothing but faults when I see photos of myself BUT I make conscious choice to ignore that voice in my head and to get in the photos with my family every opportunity I have.

And my superpower? Well I think my superpower is making people feel comfortable and at ease, which is not a bad talent to have when you're a photographer.
